We collect minimal diagnostic data necessary to ensure the deterministic halal engine functions correctly. This includes anonymous crash reports and unrecognized ingredient strings triggered by scans. We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII).
How We Use Data
Any anonymous ingredient strings sent to our Admin Review Process are used exclusively to expand our halal additives directory. We do not build profiles based on your dietary behavior.
No Advertising Tracking
We do not use advertising trackers, third-party marketing pixels, or sell your scan history to data brokers. Halalyn is built on a foundation of trust.
GDPR Compliance
We fully comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other international privacy frameworks.
You have the right to request the deletion of any diagnostic data associated with your device marker at any time.
Data Retention
Anonymous scan queries used for database improvements are retained only as long as necessary to verify the ingredient, after which any metadata is permanently scrubbed.
